* Our Kennels are separated into 3 buildings, to better suit the
needs of different size dogs. 8 kennels for the smaller dogs
and 28 kennels for medium to large dogs.

*Our guests stay in their own private kennel indoors
(no outside evening kennels or car ports).
They can share a kennel if they are from the same Ohana (family) and love to be together. If they have eating issues, they will have to be kenneled separately

*Our guests play in large individual, grass, fenced in yards
(so they can play without fear of being injured by other dogs)
a minimum of 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the afternoon
so there is lots of outside exercise, fresth water,
fresh air, and time to do their "business".
We have 25 yards to accomplish this

*Our yards are safe, secure & lots of shade that provides freedom for off leash play.

*WE OFFER PUPPY PLAY TIMES*
WANT THAT EXTRA ONE-ON-ONE TIME WITH YOUR DOG TO CHASE A BALL, LIGHT BRUSHING OR TUMMY SCRATCHING.
IT IS $6.00 PER 15 MINUTE SESSION
THE DOGS HAVE BEEN LOVING IT
(DOGS GET TO USE A BAG WITH A BALL, BRUSH, TUG TOY, FRISBY AND TENNIS BALLS WHILE THEY ARE HERE,
EVERY THING IS CLEANED BETWEEN DOGS)

*We use nontoxic detergents and disinfectants to keep the kennels clean

*We spray our yards regularly for control of fleas and ticks
(but your pet must be on some kind of flea and
tick preventive program)

*We have bowls so you don't need to bring yours.

*You need bring your own food.
Example: dry, can, & if you cook for them, just put it in little baggies and we will warm it up

We need them to be on their normal diet.
Don't change foods right before they check in.
Because your pet will do so much better and not have to go through the stress of a diet change.
(please bring extra - you will get back what ever
we don't use. Incase you are delayed)

*Any medications that they take regularly. We do not charge
for giving medications unless it is along the lines of insulin.

*They are required to be fully vaccinated. The current vaccinations are DHLPPC (distemper and parvo) & Bordetella (canine cough) vaccine. All shots and or boosters must be completed 2 weeks prior to the day of check in. For the health and safety of all boarding animals NO exceptions are made to this policy.
We do not allow self vaccinations.

If you board else were like vet clinic, boarding facility,
someone's home with dogs or adopting from the Humane Society
With in three (3) weeks of check in date,
we will not be able to board your pet. For all pets saftey

*They must arrive on a leash or you can carry them
but they can not run loose at anytime.

*Your pets must be on a flea & tick preventative.
For long term boarding of 3 weeks or more.
Please bring your choice of flea treatment.
We will apply it when needed.

His beginnings as a dog groomer started over 15 years ago in Denmark. Four years ago he moved to the US to learn the world of professional dog handling. Fortunately for us, Martin moved to Maui and now finds himself here with us.

All pet(s) will be required by
The Ohana Animal Inn, Inc.
to be current and up to date with vaccinations
2 or more weeks prior to grooming date.
Even if they are only coming in for grooming.
Dogs: dhlppc & bordetella
We will check with your veterinarian to confirm vaccination history, when you make an appointment with Martin.
